Getting people out of your booth
Resources March 16th, 2008
Does it seem like I have a blog crush on Luann Udell? It’s only because almost everyday I see something on her blog that makes me want to smile. Seriously, if you haven’t read her blog yet, you should check it out if none other than for her “Good Booths Gone Bad” series or if for the the newest series of posts she’s started doing.
If you’ve been doing shows for any length of time, you know that you’re always trying to get people into your booth (so hopefully they can buy something). Well what about those that you just want to get the hell out of your booth? You know who they are, the artist wanabees, the hecklers, the ones with a permanent storm cloud over their heads, the ones who bought something and want to be your new best friend, and the ones who just…won’t…shut…up! Well, Luann just started a new series called “Getting People Out of Your Booth“. In she rounds up the usual suspects and some strategies on how to handle them. The spring craft show season is about to roll around…so you better start brushing up your bouncer skills!
